We are now looking for a Robot Technician in Karlskrona. We are seeking someone with knowledge and experience in robot control and development work from the manufacturing industry, preferably with a background from the shipbuilding industry.

Your Role

We have recently installed a new robot cell for processing polymeric materials. Currently, there is intensive work underway to develop working methods to streamline and simplify the ongoing composite production.

Your main tasks will include programming, testing, control, and implementation. A strong technical interest combined with good teamwork skills are key attributes for success in this role.

You will be a vital part of the operation, and your ability to work independently, structured, and goal-oriented is crucial for a successful outcome.

Main Responsibilities

• Automation and robot programming
• Commissioning and programming of robots for processing in composite materials
• Support for ongoing production, primarily operational work during the startup phase
• Further development of offline programming within our areas

Profile

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in commissioning and robot automation
• Experience with offline programming
• Knowledge of CNC programming for machining
• Knowledge of additive manufacturing (3D printing) in polymeric materials
• Experience in production technology work
• Experience in small-batch production where every detail is unique

The position requires you to undergo and pass security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
